Mission

In Twi, Ahotɔ means Relief and Comfort—the physical and emotional easing that follows suffering. The Ahotɔ Missional Team, in strategic partnership with ACF and Heart to Heart, is a cross-border initiative into Malawi and Mozambique. Our goal is to model the holistic healing ministry of Jesus Christ by treating the body through medical clinics, clearing the mind through compassionate counseling, and restoring the spirit through dedicated prayer ministry.

Who We Are Looking For

Because this trip is highly specialized, we are building a diverse team of healthcare professionals, caregivers, and intercessors. We need:

• Medical Professionals: Doctors, nurses, physician assistants, dentists, and pharmacists.
• Mental Health Practitioners: Licensed counselors, social workers, and family therapists.
• Prayer Intercessors & Ministers: Believers gifted in cross-cultural prayer ministry and pastoral care.
• Logistics & Support Staff: Willing hands to manage clinic flow, register patients, and assist the team.

Core Responsibilities

Team members will deploy their professional skills and spiritual gifts in mobile community clinics:

• Mobile Medical Clinics: Diagnose, treat, and dispense medications to underserved rural populations.
• Trauma-Informed Counseling: Provide safe, biblically grounded emotional support and coping strategies.
• Focused Prayer Ministry: Provide prayer alongside medical triage to intercede for patients and local communities.

Trip Logistics & Investment

• Estimated Cost: $3,900 per person (Includes international airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and all meals).
• Prerequisites: Active professional licensing (for medical/counseling tracks), cross-cultural adaptability, and mandatory attendance at all pre-trip preparation cohorts.
